D.J. Montaño is a first-time author with an affinity for the horror and suspense genres of books and movies. Classic tales from Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, and many more have always interested him, particularly when there is a unique concept or spin on what seems normal.

Many influences in Montaño’s life have contributed to his love for the dark and macabre. As a U.S. Navy Veteran, he traveled the world and was exposed to many different cultures, points of view, and perceptions on the darker side of the human mind.

He always strives to make the characters feel rooted and accessible while giving real and proper motives. He is here to contribute some new tales to the annals of hair-raising, skin-crawling stories that haunt readers’ dreams.
